Adopt-A-School of Beaufort County, Inc. was invited to participate in a Fall Fest sponsored by the Visual Arts Community on Dataw Island, South Carolina.  The Fall Fest was an opportunity for the VAC membership to showcase their multiple talents in a number of artistic crafts – paintings, jewelry, pottery, glassware, woodworking, and more were on display and available for purchase.

In addition to the arts, Fall Fest invited several non-profit organizations to be represented in an area devoted to volunteerism.  Adopt-A-School had a small student desk and a display board of photos.  A number of visitors stopped by to learn about the organization, and a colorful handout was available.  Adopt-A-School was grateful for the opportunity to call attention to the organization and received several volunteer applications following the event.
